Barrett Rifles - BORS Installer / Programmer Course

Course Schedule and Location Chart
Barrett's one day (8 hr) BORS Installer/ Programmer course equips gun owners, gunsmiths, law enforcement, and military personnel with the knowledge necessary to install BORS units, chronograph cartridges, use BORS software, and upload new cartridge tables to a BORS unit.

With successful completion of the course, each student will be presented with a certification as a Barrett BORS Installer that will be valid for two years.

Course topics include:

  • BORS Overview
  • In-Depth BORS Menu Coverage
  • BORS Ranging Estimation Function
  • Chronograph Usage
  • Using BORS Software to Create New Cartridges
  • Uploading New Cartridge Tables to BORS Unit

Class begins at 8:30AM and generally lasts until between 4:30 and 5:30 PM. If you travel home by air on the last day of class the earliest flight you should get is 8:00PM. Locations of each course can be found of the Course Schedule Chart.

It is possible to contract Barrett courses to be held at your facilities on alternate dates. For more information contact Training.

BORS, scopes, and rings provided by Barrett. All tools for the course are supplied by Barrett for use during the course.
